I love to read, and I do not limit myself to only a few genres. I enjoy Horror, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Thriller, Gothic Romance, Historical Fiction, and Mystery, and I am open to others as well. I do, however, limit my reviews to Adult Fiction. I will read (and review) Young Adult Fiction books on occasion, as long as they are not too childish. To give you an example of this, I enjoyed the Harry Potter series, but that was borderline. When I read non-fiction, it is mainly for research purposes only, and I will only read as much as I need to, so I will not offer a review.
My reviews are my opinions, and my opinions only. I do not read other critics to restate or counter their opinions, nor will I give a good or bad review just because other have. I give honest reviews on books that I read in full. I always try to finish what I start, but if it is so bad that I cannot finish, I will give my reasons why. If I gave a book a bad review (which really doesn't happen that often - I am very open-minded!), it is because I generally did not care for the story or how it was written.
You are welcome to comment on my reviews, but please note that all comments need to be accepted by me before they are posted. If your intent is to irately argue my opinion or to insult me, your comment will not be posted. If your argument is reasonable, considerate, and well-put, you have a much higher chance of having it posted, as I enjoy a good discussion.
